MEXICO CITY, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- Six people were killed in a series of shootouts Wednesday night in small border towns between Mexico's central state of Michoacan and neighboring Jalisco state in the west, local police reported Thursday.
The Michoacan Public Security Secretariat said via Twitter that law enforcement agencies found six bodies when they were responding to reports of gunfire in the towns of Cotija, Tocumbo and Tinguindin.
