GENEVA (Reuters) - The United Nations refugee agency said on Friday it continued to receive "disturbing reports" about Eritrean refugee camps in Ethiopia's Tigray region which remain inaccessible
"We hope that the recent agreement will allow a full and unhindered humanitarian access to the Tigray region," Babar Baloch of the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees told a Geneva news briefing. There were concerns that some Eritrean refugees may have already fled camps in search of safety, he added.
