LONDON, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- British stocks rose on Wednesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 1.23 percent, or 78.66 points, to close at 6,463.39 points.
London Stock Exchange Group, a global financial markets infrastructure business, soared 9.56 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. BHP Group and Rio Tinto increased by 5.65 percent and 4.83 percent, respectively.
