Weekly storage of natural gas in U.S. down 0.5 pct: EIA

HOUSTON, Nov. 25 (Xinhua) -- Working gas storage in the contiguous United States was 3,940 billion cubic feet (about 111.57 billion cubic meters) in the week ending Nov. 20, a net decrease of 18 billion cubic feet, or 0.5 percent, from the previous week, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said Wednesday in a report.

The total working gas storage increased by 8.9 percent from this time last year, or 6.8 percent above the five-year average, according to the EIA's Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report.
