Russia reports record highs of 25,487 new coronavirus cases, 524 deaths

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia reported a record high of 25,487 new coronavirus infections on Thursday, bringing the national tally to 2,187,990.

Authorities also reported a record high of 524 deaths related to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, pushing the official death toll to 38,062.
