NEW YORK, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) -- The COVID-19 infection rate on 7-day average fell down to 3.09 percent from 3.11 percent one day earlier, Mayor Bill de Blasio tweeted on Sunday, adding that "the second wave is real. We can't let up the fight now."
The rate hit 3.02 percent on Friday, 3.01 percent on Thursday and 3.00 percent on Wednesday, according to official records.
