Guangzhou expo sees 1.87 bln yuan in intellectual property trade

GUANGZHOU, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- Intellectual property worth about 1.87 billion yuan (about 285 million U.S. dollars) was traded at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Intellectual Property Trade Expo 2020 in south China's Guangdong Province, organizers said Saturday.

Trade in patent and trademark reached 1.72 billion yuan, an increase of 15.97 percent from last year, while trade in copyright amounted to 144 million yuan, involving 2,323 copyrights at the expo.
