LONDON, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- British stocks rose Friday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 0.27 percent, or 17.10 points, to close at 6,351.45 points.
Antofagasta, a copper mining company, soared 3.46 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Avast and JD Sports Fashion increased by 3.18 percent and 2.77 percent, respectively.
