LONDON, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Thursday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.80 percent, or 50.89 points, to close at 6,334.35 points.
Croda International, a British speciality chemicals company, soared 3.62 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust and Halma increased by 3.37 percent and 3.11 percent, respectively.
