NEW YORK, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- New York City has reached the threshold of 3 percent COVID-19 test positivity rate on 7-day average, which "means public school buildings will be closed as of tomorrow," tweeted Mayor Bill de Blasio on Wednesday.
"Health and safety have always been our first priority for @NYCSchools students, staff, and families," said de Blasio. "We must fight back the second wave of COVID-19."
