LONDON, Nov.17 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Tuesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.87 percent, or 55.96 points, to close at 6,365.33 points.
Intermediate Capital Group, a British-based global alternative asset management company, soared 7.85 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Imperial Brands and Taylor Wimpey increased by 7.34 percent and 5.79 percent, respectively.
