NEW YORK, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- The COVID-19 infection rate on 7-day average in New York City (NYC) was 2.83 percent, up from 2.6 percent one day earlier, tweeted Mayor Bill de Blasio on Friday.
This has been the highest level since June, and the rate has been climbing up for days in a row, according to official records. The threshold to a second wave of the pandemic is 3 percent, the mayor once said.
