BERLIN, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- For the third time this year, the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reported on Thursday negative inflation reading -- minus 0.2 percent year-on-year -- for October.

As Europe's largest economy is projected to shrink by more than five percent in 2020, the inflation rate in October stagnated near the five-year-low of minus 0.3 percent recorded in Jan. 2015, according to Destatis.
