NEW YORK, Nov. 11 (Xinhua) -- New York ranks No. 16 in the latest nationwide tally of household income levels, with Washington, D.C., Maryland and New Jersey taking the top three, according to statistics analyzer Stacker on Wednesday.
The median household income in New York was 65,323 U.S. dollars, 8.3 percent more than the U.S. median income, according to Stacker, who took a look at the economies in U.S. states and the District of Columbia, with statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau's most recent 5-Year American Community Survey, released in December 2019, to rank them according to median household income.
