LIMA, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- Peru's currency devalued on Tuesday, one day after former President Martin Vizcarra was impeached by Congress for alleged corruption, generating political uncertainty.
According to data from Bloomberg, the Peruvian sol traded at 3.62 to the U.S. dollar at 9:16 a.m. local time (14:16 GMT), compared to 3.58 soles to the dollar at the close of the market on Monday.
