LOS ANGELES, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- AMC Theatres, the largest U.S. movie theater chain with Chinese conglomerate Wanda Group owning a majority stake, announced Tuesday the official launch of private theater rentals for as low as 99 U.S. dollars to entice moviegoers amid the ongoing pandemic.
Guests can rent out a showing for up to 20 friends and family members at any of AMC's approximately 600 theaters nationwide for as low as 99 dollars plus tax for a wide array of popular movies. New releases like "Tenet", "The War with Grandpa" and "Freaky" are available starting at 149 dollars plus tax, up to 349 dollars plus tax, depending on location and theater, said the company in a press release.
