1,361 flee cyclone Eta in Costa Rica, 2 missing

SAN JOSE, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- At least 1,361 people were evacuated to 41 shelters in 16 cantons in Costa Rica, fleeing heavy rains caused by tropical depression Eta, as rescue teams searched for two missing men, the National Emergency Commission (CNE) said Thursday.

The president of the CNE, Alexander Solis, said in the last 12 hours, his agency received more than 300 reports of landslides, flooding and other rain-related incidents.
