BERLIN, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) -- Manufacturers in Germany have dampened their export expectations as the corresponding ifo Business Climate Index fell from 10.3 points last month to 6.6 points in October, the Munich-based ifo Institute for Economic Research said on Tuesday.
"Rising infection numbers around the world are cause for increasing concern in the export industry," said Clemens Fuest, president of the ifo Institute, in a statement.
