French shares lose 1.90 pct on Monday

PARIS, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- French shares lost on Monday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 down 1.90 percent, or 93.52 points, to close at 4,816.12 points.

Of the 40 selected large companies, 37 lost in the day.

French multinational corporation that provides consulting, technology, professional, and outsourcing services Capgemini lost 6.29 percent. French payment and transactional services company Worldline dropped 5.29 percent. French electrical systems designer and builder Thales went down by 4.67 percent.

French car manufacturer Peugeot advanced 0.42 percent. French multinational retailer Carrefour rose 0.40 percent. French high fashion luxury goods manufacturer Hermes International S.A. rose 0.15 percent.
