Slovakia's daily tally of new coronavirus cases tops 3,000 for first time

PRAGUE (Reuters) - Slovakia reported 3,042 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, the third record daily tally in a row, Health Ministry data showed on Sunday.

The total number of cases grew to 43,843 in the country of 5.5 million.
