WTI crude futures settle lower


NEW YORK, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- U.S. oil prices fell on Friday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for December delivery lost 79 cents to settle at 39.85 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
