German shares close lower Monday

FRANKFURT, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- German stocks closed down on Monday, with the benchmark DAX index down 54.33 points, or 0.42 percent, to close at 12,854.66 points.

European multinational online food-delivery service Delivery Hero lost 3.09 percent, the top loser among the blue chips, followed by European health care company Fresenius SE and multinational software corporation SAP which lost 2.38 percent and 1.39 percent respectively.
