Morocco registers 2,721 new COVID-19 cases, 173,632 in total

RABAT, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- Morocco announced on Sunday 2,721 new COVID-19 infections, taking the tally in the North African country since March 2 to 173,632.

The number of recoveries from the coronavirus in Morocco increased to 143,972 after 2,591 more were added, while the death toll rose by 50 to 2,928, the ministry of health said in a statement.
