Iraq reports 3,110 new COVID-19 cases, 426,634 in total

BAGHDAD, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- The Iraqi Health Ministry reported on Sunday 3,110 new COVID-19 cases, raising the nationwide number to 426,634.

The new cases included 1,062 in the capital Baghdad, 283 in Duhok, 274 in Erbil, 240 in Sulaimaniyah, and 205 in Basra and Nineveh each, the ministry said in a statement.
