German shares lose 0.91 pct Tuesday

FRANKFURT, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- German shares lost on Tuesday, with the benchmark DAX index down 119.42 points, or 0.91 percent, to close at 13,018.99 points.

Multinational chemical and pharmaceutical company Bayer lost the most among the blue chips, down by 3.47 percent, followed by European health care company Fresenius SE and multinational building materials company HeidelbergCement, which lost 2.56 percent and 2.12 percent respectively.
