PARIS, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- French shares lost on Tuesday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 down 0.64 percent, or 31.68 points, to close at 4,947.61 points.
French international financial group BNP Paribas lost 4.07 percent. French multinational investment bank and financial services company Societe Generale and international full-service banking group Credit Agricole S.A. went down by 3.95 percent and 3.79 percent respectively.
European commercial real estate company Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield SE advanced 2.92 percent. French payment and transactional services company Worldline and multinational telecommunications corporation Orange S.A. rose 2.72 percent and 1.61 percent respectively.
