ISLAMABAD, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- Twenty-one schools have been sealed by the district administration of Pakistan's capital Islamabad, after the emergence of COVID-19 cases and violations of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) since Sept. 15, local media reported Tuesday.
Education institutes across the country were reopened on Sept. 15 after a closure of six months due to COVID-19. The government directed the schools' administration to follow the SOPs to stop the spread of the disease in students.
