Portugal registers 1,090 new COVID-19 cases

LISBON, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- Portugal recorded 1,090 COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours, bringing the total count to 86,664 cases since the beginning of the pandemic, according to an epidemiological bulletin from the Directorate-General for Health (DGS) on Sunday.

The DGS bulletin also showed that the death toll from COVID-19 has risen to 2,080 after 13 more deaths were registered in the same period.
