ALGIERS, Oct. 8 (Xinhua) -- Algeria on Thursday reported 138 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 52,658.
The Algerian Ministry of Health also announced four new fatalities from the novel coronavirus, raising the country's death toll to 1,783.
