MADRID, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) -- Spain's Civil Guard on Monday detained three former members of the Basque separatist group ETA following the discovery of a cache of explosives in the northern province of Alava in July 2019.
The Spanish Ministry of the Interior confirmed in a communique that the three detainees --Kepa Arkauz, Ekhine Eizaguirre and Imanol Jaio -- were members of an ETA cell that was active between 2008 and 2010. They are accused of storing weapons and explosives.
