Aide says decision to be made on whether to discharge Trump from hospital on Monday

WASHINGTON, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) -- White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said on Monday that a decision on whether to discharge U.S. President Donald Trump, who's still receiving COVID-19 treatment, from hospital, will be made later in the day.

"The doctors will actually have an evaluation sometime late morning and then the president in consultation with the doctors will make a decision on whether to discharge him later today," Meadows said in an interview on "Fox and Friends" on Monday morning.
