LONDON, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Wednesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.53 percent, or 31.40 points, to close at 5,866.10 points.
International Consolidated Airlines Group, an Anglo-Spanish multinational airline holding company, soared 4.42 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Taylor Wimpey and Land Securities Group increased by 3.04 percent and 1.97 percent, respectively.
