FRANKFURT, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- German stocks rose on Monday, with the benchmark DAX index up 401.67 points, or 3.22 percent, to close at 12,870.87 points.
Deutsche Bank won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 7.35 percent. Chemical group BASF and automotive manufacturer BMW gained by 4.62 percent and 4.52 percent respectively.
