KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- Finance ministers of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) economies met virtually Friday to share and exchange ideas on fiscal and monetary interventions to mitigate the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as to build a more resilient economy.
Malaysian Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, who chaired the meeting, said APEC members have worked together as a region and should continue to do so with a compassionate, coherent and comprehensive response as well as a shared sense of responsibility.
