ANKARA -- Turkish central bank on Thursday increased its main interest for the first time since September 2018, raising the rate by two percentage points after its currency lira reached historical lows.
The Central Bank stated that the one-week repo rate would go from 8.25 percent to 10.25 percent. (Turkey-Interest Rate)
