FRANKFURT, Sept. 24 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged down on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index down 36.40 points, or 0.29 percent, to close at 12,606.57 points.
Aircraft engine manufacturer MTU Aero lost 2.38 percent, the top loser among the blue chips, followed by sportswear and equipment maker Adidas and personal-care company Beiersdorf which lost 2.04 percent and 1.90 percent respectively.
