TEHRAN -- Iran reported 3,605 new COVID-19 patients overnight, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 432,798 on Wednesday, according to Sima Sadat Lari, spokeswoman for Iran's Ministry of Health and Medical Education.

The pandemic has so far claimed 24,840 lives in Iran, up by 184 in the past 24 hours, Lari said during her daily briefing. (Iran-COVID-19)
