Tunisia reports 1,219 new COVID-19 cases, 12,479 in total

TUNIS, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- Tunisian health ministry on Wednesday reported 1,219 new infections with the novel coronavirus and ten more deaths, raising the total infections to 12,479 with 174 deaths.

"The current number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients reached 256 including 72 in intensive care units and 26 others are mechanically ventilated," it said.
