BERLIN, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- Germany would need "nationally binding, effective and uniform rules" for the implementation of precautionary COVID-19 measures and to enforce the measures more consistently than before, the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina said on Wednesday.
Because of the cold season ahead and increasing activities indoors, there was a "danger that the pandemic will once again develop in a way that is difficult to control," Leopoldina noted.
