LUSAKA, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- A senior Zambian government official said on Tuesday that the country's current electricity shortages were expected to be addressed by March next year.
Minister of Energy Matthew Nkhuwa said the construction of a 750 megawatts power plant, the Kafue Gorge Lower, will help cushion the power deficit which currently stands at 810 megawatts.
