MADRID, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- The Spanish State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) on Tuesday predicted that this autumn in the country will be warmer and drier than average, following a summer that was also hotter than normal.
In its quarterly forecast, the AEMET said that the average temperatures in the autumn months will be 0.6 degrees Celsius above average, adding temperatures could be as much as one degree Celsius higher in the mountainous areas in the north and center of Spain.
