SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- Amazon on Thursday announced the first recipients of investments from the Climate Pledge Fund, which is a dedicated 2 billion U.S. dollar venture investment program backing sustainable technologies and services.
The fund will help Amazon and other companies meet The Climate Pledge -- a commitment to be net-zero carbon by 2040, the company said.
