LONDON, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Wednesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.44 percent, or 27.06 points, to close at 6,078.48 points.
Land Securities Group, a commercial property development and investment company, soared 2.73 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. 3i GROUP and Mondi increased by 2.59 percent and 2.46 percent, respectively.
