Chile's COVID-19 death toll tops 12,000

SANTIAGO, Sept. 14 (Xinhua) -- Chile on Monday said its COVID-19 death toll reached 12,013 after 64 more patients died of the novel coronavirus in the previous 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health, 1,685 new cases of COVID-19 infection in the past 24 hours also pushed the total caseload to 436,433.
