LUSAKA, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- The Zambian government on Sunday called on the country's regulator of water to revisit all permits granted following increased human activities which were causing water bodies to dry up.
Minister of Water Development, Sanitation and Environmental Protection Jonas Chanda directed the Water Resources Management Authority (WARMA) to revisit all the permits within seven days after inspecting one of the rivers in central Zambia's Mkushi district which has started drying up.
