WASHINGTON, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- U.S. producer prices rose in August as the cost of services increased solidly, while the overall trend in inflation will remain subdued for some time.
The producer price index (PPI) for final demand increased 0.3 percent in August after surging 0.6 percent in the previous month, the Labor Department reported Thursday.
