CAIRO, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- The tally of COVID-19 cases in Iran surged to 395,488 on Thursday with overnight registration of 2,063 new infections. Meanwhile, Israel set a new record in daily infections with 4,429 more cases.
Sima Sadat Lari, spokeswoman for the Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical Education, said that 129 more people died from the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, taking the death toll to 22,798 in the country.
