DALIAN, China, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- Paulinho's late goal in the injury time helped Guangzhou Evergrande overcame their city rivals Guangzhou R&F 2-1 in the ninth round of the Chinese Super League (CSL) here on Friday.

1,500 football fans are allowed to watch this match in the stadium, which is the first time in the CSL's Dalian division since the league postponed to start from July 25.

The match looked like a one-side game in the first half as Evergrande firmly controled the initiative, but hardly could say they have real good chance under the tight defence of R&F.

R&f rarely had opportunities to advance over the half court. However, in the 60th minute, Dia Saba shocked Evergrande's goalkeeper with a close range shot in a fast counter attack. One minute later, Saba launched another offensive from the right and his teammate Huang Zhengyu drove the soccer home with a curve ball from outside of the box.

13 minutes later, Anderson Talisca leveled the score with a similar long drive. Two minutes after that, Evergrande's Fernando Henrique kicked the ball home again in the melee in front of the gate but was ruled out as offside firstly. His goal was denied again by the referee in the 85th minute.

In the 93rd minute, R&F's goalkeeper Han Jiaqi failed to clear out the ball from the box, giving Paulinho an opportunity to add a buzzer beater for Evergrande.

"It feels good to see football fans came back to stadium," said Paulinho, he also made a positive comment to R&F's goalkeeper Han Jiaqi.

"He did well in the most time of this match, I think Han deserves a reward,"

The other match on Friday saw Shenzhen Jiazhaoye held Shanghai Shenhua to a 0-0 draw.

Both sides had chances to break the deadlock in the first half but missed them all.

In the 69th minute, the Shenzhen side got another goal-scoring opportunity. However, Harold Preciado's close-range shot was saved by Shenhua goalkeeper Zeng Cheng and then John Mary's follow-up header hit the woodwork once again.

The remaining of the match have been controversial as Gao Lin was shown his fourth yellow card of the season in the 71st minute after complaining to the referee. The Chinese international is going to miss Shenzhen's next match against his former club Guangzhou Evergrande next Wednesday.
