Albanian health ministry to increase epidemiological field teams prior to new school year

TIRANA, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- The Health Ministry in Albania is planning to increase epidemiological field teams prior to the new school year in an effort to limit the spread of COVID-19, Minister of Health and Social Protection Ogerta Manastirliu said here on Tuesday.

During a meeting with epidemiologists, Manastirliu said that with the opening of schools, the focus of work will continue to be capacity building and taking all measures for epidemiological investigation and testing in order to prevent possible new outbreaks.
