MADRID, Aug. 24 (Xinhua) -- Spain's Ministry of Health on Monday reported that the cumulative number of coronavirus cases hit 405,436 in the country, 19,382 more than the official tally of 386,054 published on Aug. 21.
The ministry said 40,427 new cases of the coronavirus were confirmed in the past seven days.
